A: The course is designed for Serious UPSC Aspirants aspiring for UPSC CSE 2026. It is a one-stop solution for both First Time UPSC Aspirants as well as Experienced UPSC Aspirants. Ideally, UPSC Aspirants preparing full-time should subscribe to our Regular GS Foundation Courses. The Working Professionals and Aspirants who are still studying in colleges/universities can subscribe to our Weekend GS Foundation Courses.

Q: How does this course help beginners who are starting from scratch?
A: This batch is designed especially for beginners who are starting from scratch. Experienced Aspirants with gaps in preparation can also choose this course. With comprehensive focus on NCERTs and standard books along with personalized mentorship, it ensures that even students with no prior background can comfortably begin their preparation.

Q: By when will the syllabus get completed?
A: The syllabus shall be completed by February 15th, 2026. This will give enough time for the Aspirants to revise and attempt the Test Series and become exam-ready for UPSC CSE. The date is tentative, and all efforts shall be made to ensure completion before the said date.

Q: What is the duration of the course?
A: The course duration will be more than 15 months as we will guide the successful candidates up to the last stage of UPSC CSE, i.e., the Personality Test.

Q: When will the course end?
A: The course does not end with the end of the syllabus as Test Series and Personality Test (Interview) preparation along with Mock Interviews are provided to successful candidates, only after which the course comes to an end by January 15th, 2027.

Q: Will I get study material?
A: Yes, you will be provided with study material for both Prelims and Mains. It will consist of the entire GS Syllabus covering all the GS Subjects. The same shall be in printed form to every enrolled student.

Q: What if I miss a class?
A: We encourage you to attend all the classes. However, if due to genuine reasons you miss a class, you shall have access to the class recordings on the Legacy IAS Academy Portal.

Q: Till when will I be able to access the class recordings?
A: You will have access to the recordings for over a year till the end of September 2026, by when your UPSC CSE Mains Examination will be completed. You can watch these recordings any number of times as we do not put restrictions on an Aspirant’s learning.

Q: Are there any restrictions on the portal with respect to the number of devices or the number of times the lectures can be watched?
A: There are no restrictions on the number of times a video can be watched. You can use your account from up to 2 separate devices.

Q: What is the medium of instruction?

Q: How frequently are current affairs covered?
A: Current Affairs for UPSC CSE is covered on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in an integrated manner for both Prelims and Mains to ensure a comprehensive 360° coverage of Current Affairs. Daily Current Affairs Magazine and PIB Summaries along with Practice Questions are provided. Weekly Live classes of the entire week’s current affairs take place throughout the day on Tuesday/Wednesday. Monthly Compilation of the Current Affairs as well as the practice questions are uploaded on the portal.

A: Yes. The course includes regular answer writing at the end of each chapter with relevance for the Main examination. Most importantly, individualized feedback from experienced faculties is provided.

A: Yes, your classes will include special classes for GS Mains Answer writing, in which you will be taught the art of answer writing in detail so as to master the Answer writing for UPSC CSE Mains.
