Q: Who is the course ideal for?

A: The course is designed for Serious UPSC Aspirants aspiring for UPSC CSE 2026. It is a one-stop solution for both First Time UPSC Aspirants as well as Experienced UPSC Aspirants. Q: How is CSAT prepared for, in the course?

A: CSAT will be taught comprehensively by a CSAT Expert faculty from IIT. CSAT Classes shall be conducted every week from the initial phase of preparation. Dedicated classes on Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension. Spaced learning with enough time for students to Practice and consolidate. Previous year UPSC CSAT paper analysis.

Q: By when will the syllabus get completed?

A: The syllabus shall be completed by December 15th, 2025. This will give enough time for the Aspirants to revise and attempt the Test Series and become exam ready for UPSC CSE. The date is tentative and all efforts shall be made to ensure the completion before the said date.

Q: What is the duration of the course?

A: The course duration will be 12 months as we will guide the successful candidates up to the last stage of UPSC CSE, i.e., the Personality Test.

Q: When will the course end?

A: The course does not end with the end of syllabus as Test Series are also only after which the course comes to an end.

Q: Will I get study material?

A: Yes, you will be provided with the study material which will consist of practice questions along with solved examples. These study materials in addition to the class lecture notes and questions shall comprehensively cover the entire syllabus ensuring a great amount of practice as well.

Q: What if I miss a class?

A: We encourage you to attend all the classes. However, if due to genuine reason you miss a class, you shall have access to the class recordings on the Legacy IAS Academy Portal.

Q: Till when will I be able to access the class recordings?

A: You will have access to the recordings for over a year till the end of September 2026. You can watch these recordings any number of times as we do not put restrictions on an Aspirant’s learning.

Q: Are there any restrictions on the portal with respect to the number of devices or the number of times the lectures can be watched?

A: There are no restrictions on the number of times a video can be watched. You can use your account from up to 2 separate devices.

Q: What is the medium of instruction?

A: English Medium. However, select bilingual assistance can be provided. Please check with the office for more details.

Q: What support is provided after the course ends?

A: Post-course, students can get access to the following: CSAT Test series (at a heavily discounted price), CSAT Recordings (at a heavily discounted price), Interview guidance if selected for the UPSC Personality Test (Free).

Q: What kind of mentorship is provided?

A: Each student is allotted a mentor for academic guidance, motivational support, and preparation planning. Mentorship sessions are one-on-one and scheduled regularly based on the requirement of the student. There shall be a track record of each student.

Q: Will I be able to interact with teachers for doubts?

A: Absolutely. In fact we encourage them to interact with the teachers and clear any doubts the students might be having. Teachers are available during and after class hours for doubt clarification. Online students can submit queries via the student portal in the doubts section, as well as during the online class.

Q: How can I interact with the teachers directly if I am an online student?

A: You ask the doubts during the class or raise your doubts through our portal.

Q: Can online students interact with the teachers offline to clear the doubts?

A: Yes. Online students are also welcome at our Institute to clear any doubts that they might have.

A: Yes. The student can approach any staff member to get assistance related to form filling. If the details are related to cadre preferences, optional selection, posts preferences etc., faculties can assist you.

A: Since every class is recorded and accessible on the student portal, you can catch up at your own pace and seek advice from mentors to stay on track. Any doubts regarding these classes can also be cleared via the faculties.

A: Your preparation gets tracked through: Regular Concept Clarity tests, Progress reports (entries made by students), Mentor check-ins. This helps in identifying weak areas quite easily and making requisite course corrections.

Q: What does progress report consist of?

Q: Can I shift from offline to online mid-course?

A: Yes, based on valid reasons, transfers are allowed once during the course. Approval from the administration is required. However, Online to offline shift is not allowed without the payment of adjusted fee amount. Also, this shift is dependent on seat vacancy in your batch for offline.
